How do I place an order?
– All custom Petro Packaging plastic tubes and extrusion orders can be placed via phone, email, or fax.

What is your minimum order quantity?
– Order minimums for custom tubing and extrusions vary based on the diameter, length, and thickness of tube or shape needed.
For a custom quote, please email [email protected]
– The standard order minimum for thin-wall open end tubes and thin-wall sealed bottom tubes is 1,000 pieces.
– The standard order minimum for stock heavy-wall butyrate tubes or stock extruded shapes is 1 carton (quantities per carton vary based on size and item).
What are your lead times?
-The lead time for most custom extrusions and custom open end tubing is approximately 3-4 weeks from the date the order is placed.
-The lead time for standard thin-wall sealed bottom tubes and threaded tubes is approximately 4-6 weeks from the date the order is placed.
-The standard lead time for any custom printing jobs is approximately 6 weeks from the date the order is placed.
How do I get free samples of a custom size?
-Fill out our sample request form and specify the exact tube dimensions and quantity needed. We will send the exact size or closest available size.
Can I get 20 pcs of custom samples for a prototype before placing an order for a large quantity?
-We offer a customized small sample lot of 20 pcs for display testing.
-Sample lot charge: $100.00 + shipping
-Lead time: approx. 3 weeks
Can I get my order faster than the standard lead-time?
-All custom Petro Packaging plastic tubes and extrusions are made to order according our customers’ specifications. Orders are processed on a schedule in the order in which they are received. Accommodations can be made on a case by case basis depending on the schedule.
How do I get pricing for a specific part and quantity?
-Email: [email protected] for a custom quote.
-Send us the diameter, length, thickness of your part needed (measured in inches).
-Specify a few quantities you’d like quoted
-Price breaks are offered for larger quantities
Where do your products ship from?
-All products are shipped FOB Cranford, NJ.
Can I get different color caps that are not featured on your site?
-The order minimum for custom color caps is 20,000 pcs.
Can you make other sizes than those listed?
-We have an extensive range of capabilities to produce custom sizes.
-Email info@petropackaging with your exact dimensions needed and we will confirm the order minimum, price, and lead time.
What is the thickest plastic tube that you can manufacture?
-The thickest tube we can manufacture in custom open end tubing is 1/4” wall thickness.
-Sealed bottom tubes are only available in standard wall thickness listed.
What are the tolerances for the diameter and length of the tubing?
-Plastic tubes of 12” lengths and under have a tolerance of +/- 1/32”
-Plastic tubes over 12” lengths have a tolerance of +/- 1/16”
-Small diameter tubing has an OD tolerance of +/- .003”
-Large diameter tubing has an OD tolerance of +/-.007”
Are your products safe for contact with food?
-Plastic tubes and extrusions made from CAP or PETG material are FDA approved and safe for food contact.

Can I cancel my order for custom tubes?
-Once the order has been run, we are unable to cancel custom tubing orders.
Are your containers air/water tight?
-We do not guarantee that our tubes are water or air tight.
Which shipping companies do you use?
-We use the most economical method of shipment, UPS or common carrier
What is your Return Policy?
-Custom made open end tubes, sealed bottom tubes, and extrusions are made to order according to the customer’s specific requirements and are not returnable.
-Stock 6 FT CAB tubing that has not been used can be returned for a 25% restocking fee. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Is there a minimum/maximum length for your extruded tubes and containers?
-Minimum and Maximum lengths are evaluated on a case by case basis depending on size and wall thickness.
How can I cut your 18” stocked tubes to my desired length?
-Thin wall tubing can be cut with scissors
-Heavier wall tubing can be cut with a table saw or a band saw
